Print and stitch on one piece

An embroidered chest logo with a printed back, on the same garment. Our print partner is one of the few that will do both on one item, and here is exactly which blanks allow it.

How it goes together

Thread where it counts, ink where it shows

  1. 01

    Stitch the chest

    A left chest or center chest logo in thread. Raised, hard wearing, the look people read as a uniform or a team piece.

  2. 02

    Print everything else

    Back, front, sleeves. Full color, photos and fades, as big as the blank allows.

  3. 03

    We make it in that order

    Printing goes first and the ink is fully cured, then the stitching goes on, and never through a heavy print.

  4. 04

    Price adds up per spot

    The blank price, plus each extra spot, plus the embroidery fee on the stitched ones only.

93 of our blanks take embroidery on one spot and print on another, and 84 of those can be stitched on the chest. Hoodies, crewnecks, tees, long sleeves and a couple of tanks.

Gradient embroidery

Thread that changes color mid stitch

Standard embroidery gives you up to six thread colors from a palette of fifteen, in flat blocks. Our partner also runs a machine that dyes the thread as it stitches, so one design can fade through almost any color, including light and shadow. They call it unlimited color embroidery.

Neon and metallic thread are not available either way. A gradient design still needs the shapes to be bold enough to stitch.

Hats are stitched only in our studio. Prices are the blank with one spot included, before extra spots and the embroidery fee.

What is the difference between DTG, DTF and embroidery?

DTG prints full-color art into the fabric and works best on cotton. DTF presses a printed film onto the fabric and works on polyester, blends and hats too. Embroidery stitches your design with thread and is best for hats, hoodies and chest logos, and it costs a little more. Compare all three.

What file should I upload?

A PNG or JPG, ideally 3000 pixels or larger, with a clear background for logos. Smaller files still work but print softer.

Do I get to see it before you print it?

Yes. What you build in the studio is your proof, so check spelling, colors and placement before you check out. We look over every order before it goes to production, and if something will not print well we email you within 1 business day. If we do not need anything from you, your order goes straight into production.
